At present, Guangzhou Automobile Group has made a key technical breakthrough in mass production of all-solid-state power batteries with high safety and large capacity. Guangzhou Automobile All-solid-state power batteries adopt high-capacity solid-state anode technology and the third-generation sponge silicon negative plate technology (new nano-silicon composite negative plate), and the all-solid-state anode can reach a high surface capacity of more than 5mAh/cm2, thus achieving an energy density of more than 400Wh/kg.
Compared with the most advanced liquid lithium-ion battery at present, its volume energy density and mass energy density are increased by more than 50%, and the cruising range of the whole vehicle can exceed 1000km. Of course, compared with liquid batteries, high safety is the strongest trump card of pure solid-state batteries.
Recently, the topic of solid-state battery has been heated, but at present, there is no real solid-state battery loaded on the production car, and it is still in the transitional stage of semi-solid-state battery. GAC’s pure solid-state battery is expected to be loaded on the Haobo model in 2026, and the node in 2026 is consistent with the time node previously announced by the government. At present, the landing time in the industry is generally set after 2026.
Driving without a plan can be hard and hard for new forces.
The map-free intelligent driving that does not rely on high-precision maps is the place that various car companies want to break through at present, especially after the whole industry has AI blessing, the overall function development and landing progress have been fully accelerated.
The Guangzhou Automobile Map-free Pure Visual Intelligent Driving System launched on this Science and Technology Day can be applied to complex and changeable scenes. Compared with the current mainstream technical routes, it not only does not need high-precision maps, but also does not rely on lidar. Instead, it combines visual sensors and the industry’s top AI algorithm to perceive the world like a human being, and can realize intelligent driving with a simpler hardware system.
Guangzhou Automobile No-Map Pure Visual Intelligent Driving System has three abilities in visual recognition:
First of all, the ability to understand complex traffic roads with great accuracy. Whether it is ramp, tunnel, bend or intersection, fork road and other complex scenes, this system can accurately identify and understand the road structure.
Secondly, recognize and understand the recognition ability of traffic lights. Through the deep neural network, this system realizes the accurate identification of various signal lamp elements, including signal lamp types, various symbols and colors, countdown and flashing state.
Finally, have the ability to deal with complex and changeable scenes. The sensing range of this system reaches 150+ meters in front of the car, 100 meters behind the car and about 50 meters, which is 1.5 times of the industry level. The sensing categories include not only common traffic factors such as vehicles, pedestrians, riders and small animals, but also irregular obstacles such as carts and camp tents.
In the actual experience, the reliability of this system is really good, and the display effect of its game ability is very good, which makes intelligent driving really make drivers easier and dare to participate in the experience of man-machine driving together.
In addition, in the parking scene, the minimum error of this system can be controlled to 5cm, which can realize the most difficult three-dimensional parking space and narrow parking space in the industry, and can also automatically park in such special scenes as "end parking space".
It is worth noting that in the field of autonomous driving technology, GAC has simultaneously laid out two major technical routes: the mainstream "multi-sensor fusion technology" and the forward-looking "map-free pure vision technology", and both routes of GAC will get rid of the dependence on high-precision maps. The new forces are all driving without maps, and GAC’s map-free intelligent driving will soon be officially handed in. At present, the functions of high-speed and urban NDA in Guangzhou’s core urban area have been basically realized. After the official release of urban map-free NDA on Science and Technology Day, the new Haobo HT will take the lead in listing in the near future, and strive to achieve national coverage in the second half of the year, which is close to the intelligent landing time of most new forces and some big manufacturers, and its functional performance is worth looking forward to.
